Taxi trade fair Paris 2017

Frogne exhibited in collaboration with the Cabonline Group at the French taxi trade show, Salon Des Taxis, on 28-29 January in Paris.

The Danish-based company Frogne, one of Scandinavia’s leading taximeter manufacturers, teamed up with Scandinavia’s largest taxi company, Cabonline Group, to exhibit the newest taximeter solutions for the French taxi industry as part of a joint Scandinavian stand at France’s largest taxi trade fair, Salon Des Taxis in Paris.

The latest taximeter solution from Frogne includes taximeters with integrated reporting functionality (Fiscal Taximeter), unsurpassed navigation via TomTom BRIDGE tablet and secure payment solutions from Bambora. Taxi customers in Germany, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway are already benefiting from this solution.

Frogne’s popular taximeter solutions enable drivers, private hire vehicle owners and taxi dispatchers to optimize customer benefits and develop their taxi business on a digital platform.

Frogne shared the stand with Swedish-based Cabonline Group, owner of brands including Taxi Kurir, Sverigetaxi, TopCab and developer of app-based taxi booking and dispatch solutions. Cabonline presented their taxi booking app for the French market. The Cabonline app is distinguished by its rapid calculation of prices based on time, distance, traffic conditions, weather conditions and accessibility – all in a single solution that can be dynamically adapted and customized. The Cabonline app is based on Frogne server technology.

Salon Des Taxis is held every other year and the 2017 trade fair marked the 13th edition of the event. The exhibitors included more than 65 companies, ranging from automakers, taxi dispatchers and associations, to labor unions, taximeter manufacturers and developers of booking and traffic management systems. More than 6,000 people visited the trade fair.
